As a Mining Regulatory Specialist, you will be at the heart of our operations, working closely with our legal and environmental teams to navigate the complexities of Indonesia’s mining laws. You will be responsible for monitoring regulatory changes, ensuring compliance with environmental and social standards, and providing strategic advice to our management team.

📋 Tanggung Jawab Pekerjaan

• Monitor and analyze Indonesia’s mining regulations and environmental laws to ensure compliance with all relevant statutes and standards.
• Provide strategic advice to the management team on regulatory risks and opportunities, and develop compliance strategies to mitigate these risks.
• Conduct regular audits and inspections of our mining operations to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive regulatory reports and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate with legal and environmental teams to develop and implement compliance programs and training initiatives.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in mining compliance and sustainability.
• Represent the company in regulatory meetings, hearings, and negotiations with government agencies and other stakeholders.
• Ensure that all mining activities are conducted in accordance with international best practices and standards.

🎓 Kualifikasi & Syarat

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in mining regulatory compliance, with a focus on Indonesia’s mining laws and regulations.
• Strong knowledge of Indonesia’s mining regulations, including the Minerals and Coal Mining Law (Minerba), and the Environmental Management and Conservation Law (Amdal).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex regulatory requirements.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
• Proficiency in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
• Certification in mining compliance or a related field is a plus.
• Familiarity with mining software and tools, such as SAP and Microsoft Office Suite.
